jonz luna23, You will need to do a lot of reading, then you will know what to look for inside your monitor. I can't believe you haven't been to YOUTUBE yet!!!! Do your research there first. Then come back here and tell me what you learned by watching other owners/technicians fix/repair common failed electrolytic filter capacitor problem in their units. Hope to see a reply from you and that you now know how to possibly fix your unit for $10.

Hi It is completely normal for some monitors to do this, mainly with older ones, but there is no way of changing this without changing the monitor itself.

Monitor power problum

seems there are shorted components inside your monitor.
if you have experience in troubleshooting, try testing for shorted components. diodes, transistors, bboth at primary and secondary part.
if you don't have experience better have it on a repair shop.

No display, clipping sound appear

The clipping sound is the internal safety switch that keep shutting down the monitor.
It means there is an internal problem on the main board (overvoltage, bad component , short).
Try unplugging power cord and leaving it unplugged two or three hours, this will reset ICs by draining power completely from circuits, it is called hard reset, it rarely works.
CRT monitors waste up to 15 times more energy than TFT screen, if your CRT starts giving troubles, then it is a good time for upgrading it to a new TFT.

Monitor problem

the monitor is about to fail, capasitors and other components would need to be replaced.

Id recommend buying a new lcd monitor or a used crt you can get those for 5 to 50 usd.

repairing would cost alot more.
