Re: Lamp does not work
Hello, turn on the projector then press both the up and down volume buttons on the projector and hold them in for 10 seconds. The lamp maximum lamp timer time has been exceeded. This procedure will reset it and you will be good to go.

1 red blink every 2.5 seconds indicates a cover error-- for this check the lamp cover
2 times red blinks very 2 seconds indicates temperature error. for this let the projector cool off check filters and fans that there is no blockage of air for proper cool down
3 red blinks every every 2 seconds Power error. incorrect voltage input or internal malfunction.
4 red blinks every 2 seconds indicates Fan Error check the fans make sure they are working and not blocked or need replacing.
i have nothing on 6 ligths go ahead reconect and check for proper count. hope this information helps.
Best of Luck.
There are several reasons this could happen, and can usually be identified by glancing at the Power LED. The following applies to this particular projector:
1) Blinking RED led- Lamp or fan failure. Usually this is a bulb issue and simply needs the lamp replaced and the lamp life hours reset. Below you will find an image from the owners manual that will allow you to translate the # of times the LED blinks into a problem/solution 2) Solid Red LED means unidentifiable error. You will need to contact customer support at that point to schedule service.
If power indicator light red and warning indicator red flashing than according to user manual :-
The projector has been cooled down enough and the temperature returns to normal. When turning ON the projector the WARNING indicator stops flashing. CHECK AND CLEAN THE AIR FILTER.
Experience:- 1. if the temperature is very low than temperature sensor maybe misbehave.
2. If anyone fan not working
so please you check fans.
(If lamp or lamp ballast unit faulty than after a time period the lamp indicator light ON not a warning indicator. I experience many times if any fan in projector are broken or jamed the temperature light if present otherwise warning light ON or flashing)
if the led flashes once in 2-second intervals and you don't hear a high-pitched whir, the colorwheel needs replacing. if you do, the ballast is bad. if it flashes 2 times, the lamp is past 3000 hours. 4 times, fan error. 5 times, temp too high and it needs to cool.
From the infocus_lp650 manual Table 2: Red LED Behavior Explanation One (1) blink The lamp won't strike after five (5) attempts. Check the lamp and lamp door installations for loose connections. Two (2) blinks The lamp counter hours have exceeded lamp life hours. Replace the lamp and reset the lamp hours counter. Optional Accessories Part Number Three (3) blinks The projector has shut down the lamp. Replace the lamp. Contact Technical Support for repair if replacing the lamp does not solve the problem.. Four (4) blinks The fan has failed. Replace the lamp (the lamp module contains a fan). Contact Technical Support for repair if replacing the fan does not solve the problem. Five (5) blinks The projector is overheating. Check for a blocked air vent. Contact Technical Support for repair if clearing the air vents does not solve the problem.
I have the same problem before. I found a replacement fan. A computer chassis fan works perfect. It should be 60mmx60mm - plenty in E-bay for about $5.00. Very easy to open the unit to replace the fan. It has 2 fans in a rubber housing. Check which one need replacement.
