Hi, Check following image taken from related service manual that shows how to take off front screen from WT-46805 tv. Hope this info will help you. Please click HERE to download service manual copy, if required. It has schematics, parts list, exploded views and all technical info of WT-46805 tv. (service manual is available for 2 days only) Thanks.
There is no bulb in that model TV. There are 3 crt type tubes. You'll have to have a TV shop determine the cause. It could be many things like no high voltage present, cathode voltage missing. If the tubes are finished, the cost to replace them is quite high. It is a complicated repair since the tubes have to be properly aimed and converged. The repair cost in this worst case scenario would be greater than buying a flat screen TV with the same screen size.
you will need the replacement screens. Phillips doesnt make them anylonger, they are exspensive. But you can get one by leaving a email at the following link with the model number of your set and what youre needing. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
A WD62827 is a V30+ chassis and is a DLP format projection screen Tv, not a flat screen, am I missing something?? For the symptoms you're describing with a WD62827 remove and reseat the DVI cable between the chassis and optical engine. If removing and reseating the DVI cable does not resolve the issue you may need to replace the Optical Engine part # 938P019020
BTW the current software version for this unit is 7.04.1F if you have anything less you might think about updating the software also..
Hope this helps!
