Downloaded anti virus now it wont boot up

I hope your system was infected with a massive list of viruses which in fact modified your system files and made your system as their host. When your antivirus removed all the virus infections, it deleted the host files too which made your system unstable to work.

You can solve this by two methods:
  1. Either restore your system using a startup disk. But for this, you may require a startup disk which you have created previously.
  2. You may reinstall/ fresh install your Operating System(OS) and this may require the help of a service technician.
Hope this will solve your problems. And for future, you must be careful while scanning your system with an antivirus. Ensure that you have set "the action to be performed after detecting the threat" as"heal" and not "remove" or "delete".

Trojan Horse Removal

A virus is program that has malicious content in it and replicates itself and a Trojan horse is program that will only work if the user executes it. Sometimes, a Trojan horse covers itself as a fake folder while in fact, it's an .exe file.
The good thing about Trojan horse is that it is not that hard to get rid of them. But the bad thing about Trojan horse is that it is a little bit difficult to find them.
Although, it does not corrupt files or delete data stored on your hard disk until you execute it. Once executed, it will allow the hackers to indentify your credit card number, social security number, bank account details or some other private information.
You can delete or remove the hidden Trojan horse with the help of antivirus software. Either, you can also try the manual process to delete it or you can follow these steps:
STEP 1 Open the System Information Utility (msinfo32.exe). You can find the System Information Utility by typing “msinfo32.exe” in ‘Run’. This program lists all the processes running on any Windows system, even those processes that are hidden from the task list. Now open your virus scanner and run the executable or .dll through it.
STEP 2 Open your antivirus software and run a virus scan. If you don't have a antivirus software installed, download AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 7.5. And run a scan using it. After the scanning process is completed, delete the value that was detected from the registry (before doing this step, take a backup of the registry files):
A) Click ‘Start’ > ‘Run’.
B) Type "regedit".
C) Click "OK".
D) Go to the subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunServices
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServices

E) Now delete any value from the right pane that was detected during the scan process.
F) Exit the Registry Editor.

How to effectivelly do a Virus Scan

To Effectivelly scan for viruses in your PC, you should turn off the System Restore, for the following two reasons.

1) It may have the backup image and settings for the virus effects on the computer and may get back those after a successful virus removal, and you will again be effected with the same virus.

2) The folder where system restore data is saved is System Volume Information, this folder is no accessible by Antivirus for scanning as they are blocked by the O/s. When you disable the System Restore, you can help your Antivirus to scan on those folders also, where virus can be hidden.

A good virus never comes to the front to infect your computer, it stays in the back and send its ddeployments to infect and harm your computer.

My computer turned off by itself. The malwarebytes detected an infected file but when i select remove selected file in the malware window, it just sits there and does nothing.

You can try avast and maleware bytes. Both are very effective in this kind of situation. Click here Click here Download both antivirus from above links and install and update. Then scan computer boot time with avast and remove all antivirus when it detects. Then scan with malewarebytes. Let me know if you need furhter assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

First try cleaning all your temporary internet files and temp files. This is the place where most of viruses and trojens unpack themselfs.

To clean temporary internet files follow below instructions

1) Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools
2) Click on Internet Options
3) On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Delete Files
4) You may also want to check the box "Delete all offline content"
5) Click on OK and wait for the hourglass icon to stop after it deletes the temporary internet files
6) You can now click on Delete Cookies and click OK to delete cookies that websites have placed on your hard drive

To clean temp files follow below instructions

Why every time when i download antivirus, it attacks on my system as if ti wer a virus itself

Maybe there are so many virus on your system preventing antivirus to run. Or there are so much active viruses on system that is being detected and too much detection message is being displayed. Or else, downloading antiviruses should be as easy as we all have.

How can i remove virus

You can remove virus by using updated antivirus. Install it on your computer. I recommend you to use updated AVG 8 or AVAST antivirus full versions because it will surely remove viruses from your system. Scan your computer with the antivirus and don't forget to delete all the infected files and the viruses found in the chest or mostly known as virus vault. Use only one antivirus on your system because using more than one antivirus may crash down your computer.
