Alphabet keys displaying numeric

Look for a key marked as [a b/c]
To use it to enter an (improper) fraction type in the numerator , press the [a b/c] key the type in the denominator thaen press [=].
To enter a mixed number
type in the integer press [a b/c] thype in the numerator, press [a b/c] then type in the denominator followed by the =/EXE key. the result will be displayed as [integer number] [r] [numerator] [r] [denominator].
The separator [r] may look that the letter r or the letter u.

Use the fraction conversion features of the calculator.
Near (above) the [S<>D] key that toggles display between fraction/radicals and decimals, there is a marking that reads [a b/c <=>d/c]. Accessed through the [SHIFT] key, this key converts from improper fractions [a b/c] to improper fractions [d/c].
Enter your fraction with the fraction key (the one below the CALC key) and press enter. If the numerator is less then the denominator (proper fraction) the remainder is just the numerator. If the numerator is greater than the denominator the display will show an improper fraction (d/c) or a mixed number [a b/c]. Here a is the integer part and b/c is the fraction part.
So, if you have [a b/c] type display the remainder is b.
If the result is displayed as an improper fraction, use [SHIFT][S<>D] to convert the improper fraction (d/c) to a b/c.

1. In your Input method, under Settings>Locale and Text, you probably are using Samsung Keypad.
- There is a 4th column on the numeric keypad. Press the [?#+] key until it displays the alphabet characters.

2. Unfortunately, at the moment, there are only two available display options - Firstname and Lastname.

It looks like the NumLk (number Lock) has been activated.
The NumLk key is located above the Function keys next to the Pause button and when the NumLk key is pressed the NumLk LED is switch on.

The RIGHT side of the keyboard has multiple labels on each key -- alphabetic and numeric.
Press the KEYPAD LOCK key to use the "keypad" layout.
Press the KEYPAD LOCK key again to use the "alphabetic" layout.

Turn key to PROGRAM mode.
2 SUBTOTAL (the display should now show 'P2')
Now type the number of the clerk to change e.g to change clerk 3, press 3 on the numeric pad.
07 SUBTOTAL
Now type the new name for the clerk using the alphabet sheet (usually under your other keysheet).

SUBTOTAL
