Its really easy but you need to be safe, make sure all circuits are off to the outlets you are working on. Usually everything is color coated black goes with black (hot), white goes with white, ground goes with green or copper make sure you use electrical tape to tape up, then assemble from there using istructions. Hope this helps

take the fan shrodwing off and check your wiring but before you do that check your fuse box it may just be a fuse

Size of screws to mount fan blades


mcdevito75 here, A large hardware store like Home Depot, Doody's should have a standard kit of screws for the fan blades of most newer ceiling fans.

blue wire is for the fan, black wire is for light and white wire is neutral. Blue and black are hot(live)

Remote receiver faulty


That is correct you need a new receiver for the fan. The other problem that could have happened is when you replaced the batter in the remote you accidentally hit the dip switches and changed them. That is the box that has 4 white switches on it. One is in the remote and one is one the receiver that goes in the fan.

Light not working by pull chain or remote.


I would try removing the remote part. Connect the two main (light & fan) wires direct to your house main. Then if the pull chain works then you just need a new remote unit.
