How to change the voice mail message on KP DCS - 24B LCD samsung

to leave a voice mail message on the Samsung Prostar;

To enter voice mail, press the Voice Message Key, the pass code will be set in default to 0000. Your mailbox will not function properly until you have put your voice message on. To do this, press option 0, followed by 5 followed by 7. When you have got the message you require press the #. If you regularly change your voice-mail message, you must press 3, delete the original message and reset the message followed by the #.

I am assuming that you are referring to the Voice Mail greeting on the Samsung Prostar, if this is the case then enter the Voice Mail box via the button, enter your password and then listen to the prompts which will usually be set to; press 0 then 5 then 7. remember to delete the original greeting and record the new, other wise they will play together. I am assuming that this is a message and not a Voice Mail that you are having problems with on your softkey. You need to have a MSG key programmed for in-house messages or a VMMSG key for Voice mail, to check this dial TRANSFER 107 and use your volume keys to check how the softkeys are set-up. To re-program these I have posted you a training video. There are other videos on Youtube search 'abbeytel' or by following the link to www.abbeytelecom.com.

to change your password for your mailbox on your Voice Mail, dial into your Voice Mail, enter your password then press # , this takes you into personal services, the prompts will talk you through changing passwords etc for Voice Mail. Does the Main Phone, usually the Receptionist have a button labeled RTO ( Ring Plan Overide ) ? If it does then this button can be used to change the ringing destination. If the button is on the Reception phone then press the RTO key, enter Password ( 0 0 0 0 ), 2 ( assuming ring plan 2 is Day mode ),then hang up. If this totally messes up your ringing then cancel the above by pressing the RTO again, enter password ( 0 0 0 0 ), 0. Let me know how it goes, the phone system type is what I was asking for and it should be marked back in the phone closet where all the phones are connected. Talk to you later

Which system do you have ? Most can be programmed to turn the nite mode on and off automatically based on time of day. Repost a little more info and I can help. ....Mike
