Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional
I got a trojan and I initially lost my internet access. I talked to my ISP tech and he suggested Dban. I downloaded that from a good computer and it started to scan but didn't finish because of some administration rights not allowed. So I tried just a format of c: drive and that won't finish either. I'm using XP pro on a Dell Dimension 510.If you need more info let me know. I just want to reformat the drive and clean it with the best available- even if it is just the format. Thanks
Here's my advice download and run Combofix.exe and then after that go to start menu > run and type "chkdsk /r /f"and press ok. this will schedule to run a harddisk surface check and will fix and recover lost clusters. and yes install a antivirus software like kaspersky.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
