Screwed up the electric printer connection in the cartiage carrier. model E609a is replacement possible

Hi,

I think you should immediately contact HP tech support and check if the pritner can be replaced if it is in warranty as long as it was not your mistake and it accidentially happened when you were trying to fix the printer carriage jam issue.

HP TEch #. is 1-800-474-6836

Shawn

I have an epson stylus cx6000, after I put in a new ink cartiage it started making a loud grinding noise an now it won't print.

Sounds like a cartridge jam. Remove the cartridges and look at the carriage path. Make sure there is no paper or anything else in the way.
