First things first: What were the circumstances that lead to this occurrence? What were you doing on the pc just prior to the internet connection going faulty? What operating system are you using? I will be able to give your instructions to fix this after knowing the above.

The laptop was clean up and new windows were loaded but the internet drivers is missing. Were do i get it ?

You do no need drivers for the Internet, you only need IE browser.
If you cannot connect to the Internet then you may have one or more of these problems.
Your ADSL modem has not been configured with your Internet service provider.
Your LAN driver may not be installed or the LAN cable from your laptop to the ADSL modem is faulty.
If you connect to the Internet using a wireless connection then the wireless driver on your laptop may not be installed and or may not be configured with the router's wireless settings.

My Netgear WPN824 wireless router stopped working. With the exception of the internet LED (which doesn't come on at all), all of the lights are blue and doing sort of a slow, pulsating blink. No m

The RESET button is for resetting the wireless section of the router and does not effect the Internet connection.
It looks like the wireless access is faulty especially when you cannot reset and configure the wireless settings.
Try powering off the Netgear for 10 mins the connect the power again.
If you still cannot RESET the Netgear then it is faulty and you need a new wireless router.

Are you trying to set up the router.
You can do it manually without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online
through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the
modem
Then you need to connect the computer to the
router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the
settings of the router according to the ISP.

Try turning off the wireless router fo 30 secs and then power it up again. When the LEDs light up, then boot up the HP laptop.
If this doesn't work, then check the laptop to see if the wireless router issued the HP laptop with an IP address. to do this - click on Start - Run - type cmd and press Enter. This will open a DOS command box, then type ipconfig and press Enter.
If the IP address returns 0.0.0.0 then the wireless router didn't issue the HP with an IP address and either the wireless router is faulty or the wireless card is faulty or it has lost its LAN configuration.
If the wireless router LEDs are all on, try connecting a LAN cable direct to the LAN port on the router and the laptop to see if it connects to the Internet. If it connects then install the latest wireless card driver and configure it with the wireless router's settings.

The first thing to try is to check if the cable or DSL modem is working properly. Does the LEDs light up when powered up and when you connect the computer to the modem, can you get into the Internet?
If so the the wireless router and/or the wireless card or LAN card are not configures correctly. Check Device Manager in the computers to see these LAN and wireless cards are working and enabled, if not then install the drivers fo these devices.
When the computer is connected to the modem and you cannot connect to the Internet then contact your Internet company and get them to test the connection to your modem. This will determine if your modem is faulty or not.

The wireless internet connection wont work. we previously had a wireless connection and now it wont register. we lost the connection completely and it doesnt show up on the list of internet connections....

Try turning off the router for 30 secs, then power it up again.
Then try connecting a LAN cable from the computer to the router and see if you can connect to the Internet.
If you can connect to the Internet then -
With the LAN cable open a browser and type in the configuration URL and check the Wireless settings, then check and/or the wireless card settings (it should have the router's SSID and encryption settings etc.)
Also install the latest wireless card driver.
Then test the wireless and Internet connection. If this doesn't work -
Next connect the computer with a LAN cable to the cable or DSL modem to see if you can connect to the Internet.
If you cannot get an Internet connection with the LAN cable, contact your ISP and get them to test the connection to your modem.
If the modem and Internet is OK and you still cannot get a wireless connection then the problem could be a faulty wireless router.

Wireless says it's connected but isn't

To test if the modem is connecting to the Internet, connect the MAC to the modem with a LAN cable. The LAN cable could be faulty, try a different one.
If you still cannot connect into the Internet then contact your ISP and get them to test the connection to your modem. You could have a faulty modem.
