Question about HP LaserJet 2420 Printer
Hi our network printer HP 2420 keep printing wrong characters in lower part or in the upper part of the paper. how to resolve this problem? thank experts
Cary Ian Lee,
What OS, what application(s) and what is the current driver you are using?
Are you trying to print a web page that has Adobe Flash or Shockwave Player components? If Yes, Go to www.adobe.com and update Adobe Flash Player and Shockwave Media Player.
If not, are you using the PCL or the PS printer driver for your printer? There are 9 models to the HP LaserJet 2400 Series printer. Pick yours from the link that follows, and then select the OS and then the latest driver. (PS or PCL will work with this printer). You might start with the PCL6 driver as stated by Nikhil, in the information above.
Try this and let me know what happens. Binary Bob

This could be due to corrupt file or print job irrespective to file. This can also be an issue with the network sending packets or print spooler.
However, i would suggest to upgrade the driver to UPD (universal printing driver) PCL6
Please let me know the next update.
