Question about Samsung Dryers
Could be a dozen things, from some kind of tension device that has failed to mis-alignment or over tightening of the belt.
If you look at the broken belt, does one side of the belt show more wear or shredding than the other?
That is misalignment. If something is locking up, the tension device or spring, it could put enough strain to break a belt.
Another overlooked problem and this one happens all the time, the original belt was the wrong belt, and each time the belt was replaced with the same belt, but the wrong belt.
This is another problem that needs a service call as you could check and check, but it will take someone familiar with alignment or the machine to see if there is a missing guide, wrong or broken tension device, the motor is not aligned putting the pulley out of straight,
Tough but great question, could be solved maybe over the phone, but would need someone on the other end with tools and some mechanical skills.
Also need history of the first break, and age, and how this all progressed.
