I dropped my dash on the external power button, since then i could not get it to turn off with it and assumed i could not turn it on either. so i left it on well inevitably one day i powered it down via internal control.. and as i suspected i cant power it on.... any other way to power it on thanks i would really appreciate this...' shane

You need to download Microsoft Activesync and install it on your PC. You then need a mini USB to USB cable to connect the Dash to your PC. As long as the USB connection is recognized you will then have control to do different imports from the Dash. Alternatively, as long as you have Activesync installed you should also be able to read the Dash's memory and/or microSD card like an external drive and get the photos that way.
Pop out the battery and sim and wait 10 seconds and put them back in..

you will lose everything because it puts it back to factory resets but it will power on
do a sw reset....its possible it was damaged when it was dropped in the water, but not likey....
turn the phone off, press and hold the soft keys (buttons with the lines on them above the home key and back arrow key) and hold it down.....press the power button while you are doing that until the white t-mobile screen will come on, then instead of going to the green windows mobile screen, a black screen with white writing......press the green button....it will get you in your phone but it will erase your info as a result....
