Question about Cameras
I have a rubber cover for knocks etc but the camera has died.
Surely it cannot of got that wet or wet enough to kill it.
I have had in warm room with lens off to drive out any moisture.
Is there any history of supsepability to water damage.
The warrenty specifficaly excludes water damage.I can probably claim insurance
but i am so dissapointed.Until then i had taken maybe 1000 pics
It was raining quite hard but i was being careful ,or i thought i was.
Camera just never turned on again
Battery is ok
Do they have some sort of moisture saftey device in them
thanks in advance jt
If I were to use a camera in rainy conditions a lot, I would get one that uses an external flash. Internal flashes can blow a camera with one wet picture, and it happens quite often. Tell em it just stopped working one day I guess. They will not fix it if you tell them that wet story.
