Question about Kenwood KVT-617DVD Car DVD Player
I had just baught the kenwood ddx512 and i am having trouble unlocking the subwoofer contron so mu subs work right now they are turned off i was told that i have to put the park brake on to activate the park brake switch controle in the deck i did that an i still cant unlock it
I had the same iss and what I finally figured out through the use of the book and just messing with it is- go to the menu seletion screes should be the upper right button on the screen or what would be a main menu of all the options - then scroll down to the next menu page there should be one button listed as standby- click it- then go back through your menus and adjust where needed for the sub. Then just adjust all you things to max- it worked for me. the lables for audio nad interface still had a lock on it but after hitting the standby button to can then change your settings that were previously locked up. then once done just go back to your tuner or dvd etc.. to get out of set up menu.

I had a similar issue with my 512. I reset the unit and was able to get the sub control to function. Check your zone controls and make sure they are in single. Dual zone will disable the sub....Hope this helps
