When washer is turned on, water squirts, clothes take 3 hrs .
Machine never completes cleaning cycle , clothes are still soaked when it stops after 3 hrs. EX: if it reads 23 min. left, it may say 23 min for half and hour. has just quit washing. could it be a sock or something in hose? please help! Thanks

Sounds like the timer is screwed... Sending out the wrong signals and the dryer is doing the rinse cycle when it should just be the spin cycle. Do t know what your timer looks like in that washer but most now days look like the picture.
the machine is clogged is th hose kinked, try to push the start buton again, you should hear the pump come on and try to drain.when it stops, push the button again, when the door unlocks take cloths out.And put 1/2c of bleach in drum and let it soak a few hrs.Now start washer no clothes this may do it,after cycle put clothes back in and run clothes through full cycle. When ther done.Put in Draino-Drain opener gell only and let it set over nite, then run heavy duty cycle this well clean washes and clean pump.
Can you give me a model and brand name. Does the washer drain at any time during the wash cycle?
Will it go into a spin at all in any setting? heavy duty, normal and delicate cycle? is water not draining?
these machines are mean on water and you can open the door after wash starts
use good quality soap powder that suits front loaders and always wash at 40 deg or above
the black stuff is body fat that is still in machine called scud to me
also if you use conditioner in rinse cycle stop using that
it can cause same problem
Disconnect power Check that the filter is not clogged, open the bottom panel ( 3 screws on bottom front lip) next open the large screw-on filter in center. it will dump water. so have pans, towels, newspaper Remove any debris and see that the pump impellers move freely. Reassemble and try again. panel must be replaced as it has a safety switch.
