Always go back in and double check the PC life counter after the reset before F8. More than once the PC Life did not reset on the 1st attempt (other counters do reset 1st time) Take a quick look see.

No.Instal the new unit and the copier automatically clear the old IU counter.

the bizhub 222 typically does not not throw this error code this is an error code is for one of the older konicas and is a toner density error code check developer/ developer unit
if this is a bizhub 222 the toner density error code would be c2557

Whenever you ask about any problem please explain in detail.There are couple of reasons behind the above mentioned problem.Its not clear that copies are all black (full black) or just dark in print density? or its giving a dark shade? BEFORE you replaced the drum and starter did you clear the counters for drum and starter ? You mite want to try clearing the counters again. before replacing the dum and starter again.
