Firstly, install the printer driver onto the Macbook. follow the instructions that comes up once the disk image is mounted and you start setting up the installation. Before you try to use the printer, connect the printer with the cable.Follow the instructions exactly as is written. If you have any more problems, write back and let me know what you did, and what happend. Make sure to go through the printer configurations.

Connecting my Lexmark X2470 to macbook pro

Hi I'm sorry to say that no Mac o/s drivers exist for your printer according to Lexmark's own site and also according to Mac Forums.
I will keep an eye out but I suggest that you appeal to Lexmark to supply you with the relevant drivers.
Sorry for the lack of support currently available to you.

I have an io26 firewire audio interface linked to my macbook. When i record in cubase le4n i'm only getting sound out of the left headphone and its seriously quiet. I have set the audio/midi settings to...

your audio are not in interface with your macbook it means to say, the common wire are not in the same connection. that why you only hear sound on your left headphone. in short your firewire audio is not compatible with your macbook. but you can rewire it with same audio plug. or replace the audio plug with the compatible one. when you do this, make sure that the common wire of your firewire audio and your macbook are in the same connection.
