Thermador oven timer doesn't repeatedly chime for 5 minutes anymo
My thermador double oven's timer chimes 4 times after the end of the set time. It is supposed to continue chiming every 30 seconds for 5 more minutes (unless shut off) but it no longer does this. It only chimes 4 times and that's it so I sometimes don't hear it and am burning food.
Re: Thermador oven timer doesn't repeatedly chime for 5...
Not the exact solution, but you need to hold down three buttons on the front control panel - don't recall which ones and based on model of oven. Call thermador/bosch technical support and see if they can walk you through it. Had this happen when a replacement controller board was installed. It is in there common knowledge base. the first level support person was able to look it up and tell me what to do. I'm actually looking for a complete list of these changes (F to C, adjust temp, troubleshoot, chime loudness, etc)

Please clarify if I`ve misunderstood what you`re asking, but with all Thermador ranges and wall ovens ( including your SC302T model, most brands in fact ) the cooling fans will remain on for quite some time after actually shutting the oven off.
This is done by design to keep the electronics cooled to a temperature usually below 200°F so they aren`t damaged.
Heat after all is the thing which damages electronics more than anything else.
I do have use and care guides available via email attachments in "pdf" if you need one.
Thank you for choosing FixYa. I hope this eases your concern. Please let me know.
F2 error code means that the oven temperature is too hot. You will have to replace relay board if faulty. Check and replace oven temperature sensor (RTD). If failure repeats, replace ERC (electronic range control or clock). For replacement part you may contact Sears at 1-800-252-1698; M-F 6:30 AM-10:30 PM - Sat 7:00 AM-9:30 PM - Sun 7:30 AM-9:30 PM - All times Central.
it starts chiming every min AFTER the timer counts down the allotted time?? thats normal operation its remonding you that the timer has completed cookin and to remove food from oven.. it will continue cooking with residual heat if not removed
