Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

Audio but no video

I was playing the Xbox and at first everything was going good then the colors in the game was going green, even the colors that were supposed to be red. i put in another game to see if it was just that game but the other game was green to. so i tried another TV and the game was still green. so i turned the XBOX off and turned it back on but the video would not come back on, just the audio would. i thought it was the av cord so i went and bought another cord but the video would still not come on, just the audio would. so do you know what the problem could be

This sounds exactly like my story. I went out and bought a new av cord hoping that would be the solution. Audio but no video is upsetting. I'm not too happy about it.

Red ring is not the only problem with Microsoft Xbox 360. This amazing device also has some more common problems like Audio but no video problem, disc read error etc. Microsoft is providing extended warranty only for red ring problem. Means you will have to spend some money to get this problem repaired also if you plan to send your xbox to Microsoft, you will have to wait for 3-4 weeks to get back your favourite Xbox. There is one more option in the form of DIY guide, this guide explains solving No Video problem with step by step instruction, so any novice can fix this problem

If your using a tuner for your TV channels and you are using component video cables make sure that the red cable is not plugged into the audio socket. red blue and green cables should all be plugged into the "component" input on the tv not audio.

Either the AV cords are bad or the AV connection itself is bad. Try replacing the cords first. If this doesn't fix the problem, then you will need to contact Microsoft and ask about a repair order.

Turning everything green

Do you have speakers near your tv? If so then its the picture tube on your tv. And the only way to fix that if so is about 20 mins with another magnet to pull the colors back thru. Oh and remove the speakers for the tv.

Xbox 360 problem

If you can still HEAR sound, but can't see. Check your Audio Video Cable.

It's the colorful one (red, white, yellow) (red, blue green, white, red)

Make sure the connections are secure into the back of the TV as well as the connection to the back of the Xbox 360.

XBOX 360 stopped displaying video :(

it is most likley that your cables are broken and you need new ones go to your local eb games and pick them up for 20.00$ are unplug you a/v cable from the tv and the xbox for 10secs then plug it back in and try again if that does not work buy new cables also got to for trouble shooting tips.
