Sorry, I don't think you can replaced the socket by your self, it not just because you even don't know to open it, it also need soldering skills and find correct socket can be fit in the case( must same one used for your motherboard.)
Must take whole motherboard out of the case if you want to replaced the power socket. That's not DIY, that's my job.

Which components on hp nc6400 motherboard can cause input power failure

Main component to cause such an issue in the DC socket where you plug the power adapter. This is one of the weakest points in the laptop & usually the first suspect when it comes to input power failure. The socket might either be loose (in which case it will need to be re-soldered), or broken (in which case it will need to be replaced). In either case, you need to disassemble the laptop, pull the motherboard out, & inspect & fix the problem.

I replace new battery. It does'nt take charge. the

If u are able to power the laptop with power from the mains (AC) then your problem is the connection between the battery and its socket and not the battery. In that case power management will not see it as u indicated because there is no connection. You have 2 options:
1. Continue to use with mains only 2. Take it to a techie

There are alot of hidden screws on that model. Under the rubber feet, inside the battery case and under the keyboard. Even on the back side there are two screws. Make sure all of them are out before continuing. Since the screws are different lengths, I always use colored markers for the screws and holes. I use the washable markers.

Once the case is off you should only use a zero static, grounded soldering station with temp control. Your old pencil iron won't do. Even with no battery on the board the mother board is subject to static shock. I've had alot of employees try to work on a board and they weren't properly grounded. Of course I had to pay for a new mother board. Unless you're very familiar with this kind of work, I would quit now and turn it over to a pro.

The memory socket is located below and to the right of the keyboard. The panel is to the right of the mouse pad.

The keyboard needs to be removed. DO NOT REMOVE THE KEYBOARD CABLE! Remove the screw located in the middle lof the underside of the n610c. Slide the four tabs located on the top edge of the keyboard toward the space bar. The tabs are located to the right of the esc, the F4, the F8, and F12 key. Using a flat blade screwdriver gently lift the top edge of the keyboard, once it is lifted slide it toward the screen.

The panel covering the memory may require "gentle force" to remove.
