Check the function keys (F1, F2, F3, etc) for a "wireless" icon. Then when you have found it, hold the "Fn" key (lower left hand side of the keyboard) first and try toggling the function key until a menu comes up or the wireless starts to work.
Packard Bell Easy Note E2 ---- Fn / F1 Packard Bell: easy-note MV46/008 ---- Fn / F1 Packard Bell MZ36-U024 ---- Fn / F2 Easy note W7730---- Antenna like wireless button on the side of the laptop.
(Press & Hold Fn Key and Press F2 or F1 key) ... :)
There should be a switch on the outside of your notebook that disables and enables the wireless adapter. Sometimes it is a toggle switch and sometimes it is a combination of the function (Fn) key and one of the keys at the top: F1, F2, F3, et cetera. Look for an icon that resembles either an antenna or a computer with sets of lines around it. Once you enable the hardware switch, you should be able to go to your Network Connections and double-click the wireless connection to enable it.
Not sure what type of laptop you have, but look at the function keys on your keyboard (F1, F2, F3). Normally one of those will have an Antennae looking icon, if so then press your fn key and that key and it should turn it on.
the wireless switch isnt actually a switch. its the same as on the travelmate 2410 i think.which means its a little button on the front. but if that doesnt work
you could always activate it from inside the network connections bit on control panel.

matt
it surely is a keys combination. just find the little icon that represents wireless over the f1, f2, f3.... keys... arround those keys and by pressing and holding Fn key and at the same time that wireless key you will enable/disable the adapter...
