Question about Optoma H30 Multimedia Projector
About a month ago, our projector started flashing colors. We replaced the bulb about 2 weeks ago and it stopped. But, today while we were watching tv, it started again. It flashes mostly red and green and will be really quick,...maybe once or twice every few minutes. any suggestions on what this could be?

Possible cause is overheating.
Do you hear the fan working?
What happens when you use the lowest level light output?
Does it run longer?
Also possible cause is a faulty temp sensor.
AC wire connection may not be firmly pressed in socket.

I think it's a lamp driver issue from what I've seen others have gone through. I also read that if you go through the sequence of unplugging, plug back in, wait 20 seconds and try to turn on, multiple times, it will finally kick on and work. I just got mine to turn back on by doing this and waiting through the fan cycling without the light turning on. After the 4th sequence the light flickered. After the 7th sequence it finally turned on and is working. Now I can watch the Super Bowl and will look into replacing soon.
