Ept elite personal trainer tm 500 runs ok until u jump on and its like the belt is getting stuck anyone have any solutions seeing it was working fine this morning??

Loose is not the answer. Proper lubrication and correct tension adjustment is the answer. I don't know how many HP the motor is for, but for 265 pds it should be at least 3HP.
Put the speed at about 3MpH and while walking, make a small jump on the belt to ensure that it is properly tensioned. Needless to say that the belt must be well lubricated. If you see that the belt tends to stop when you make the jump, turn both allen screws exactly the same amount clockwise. Half a turn might be enough. When you're satisfied and the belt doesn't seem to stop, give both allen screws another half turn clockwise.
All that as long as the treadmill is capable of handling your weight.

please RUN the software calibration for easy diagnostic and fix it.
Go under the HOOD cover for motor, and see the instruction and follow the instruction

you must LUBE the deck belt, and lube the another parts, like roller bearing front and rear +drive belt maybe need replace. see the video attached.

This condition is when the treadmill operates normally without a person on the belt and then slows down when someone steps on the

belt or when the treadmill operates normally for a given period of time

with someone on the belt then abruptly begins to slow down.

There are four typical causes for this problem (listed in order of our experience:

1) The walking belt and/or deck are worn. (85% of the time)

2) The walking belt and/or motor belt are too tight- if you have adjusted either recently. (8% of the time)

3) The motor has lost torque and needs brushes or has demagnetized. (5% of the time)
4) The controller is dropping output. (2% of the time

Test every step.

1)Examine, the board or Running deck, if the holes where the screwdriver are Looses, TIGHT very well, and see if there are doing correct .
Normally this happen when the person training is Jumping, Is NOT normally doing this. Since this machine ARE not Heavy duty like as the machine GYM.
Repair or Replace.
2) As a TIP LUBe the bearing Rollers front and back with WD-40

I don't know where you live, but their should be a fitness store within a 50 mile radius of where you live. Look them up in the yellow pages under exercise equipment or Fitness sections. Call and see what they would charge to come out and look at it or if you can drop it off and get a estimate for a small fee.

It requires a drive belt adjustment. Gain access to the motor and belt (Disconnect from power supply first!) and reajust belt tension.
