Question about Washing Machines
My washer isn't agitating all the time anymore. What's the problem? Is it something i can fix myself or do I have to call the repairman?
The agitator dogs only make the top part of the agitator work. you can check the dogs by grabbing the top of the agitator and turning it right then left. If it doesnt lock when turned back the other direction they are bad. If thats not it, it could be your drive coupler. But its only the drive coupler if it doesnt spin. Also check the lid switch. But if its the lid switch Your washer will stay full of water and not drain out. But check your dogs. There are cheap and thats probably your problem.
