Question about Televison & Video
I have a 3-inch wide vertical line on the left side of the screen which remains on the screen while connected to the cable box and when not connected to the cable box. The Line does not leave the screen. The resolution on the 3 inch wide line is much worse than the rest of the screen, it reminds me of the way the old Windows 98 'Safe Mode' resolution use to look but its just on the 3-inch wide strip. Please help? is my t.v. defective?
This is a problem with the LCD panel. If the tv is out of warranty, I would call Samsung and see if they will pay for the panel and you pay for the labor. The panel is not cost effective to repair. If Samsung will not do anything you will need to buy a new tv.
