Question about SanDisk Memory Media

Memory sticks empty and shows no memory available

I have two Sony's digital cameras, on one I have a 2GB memory stick duo and on the other I have a 4GB.  On the 2GB the memory stick started giving us less and less pictures available, resolution on the camera was at its lowest since we had to change settings to see why it was showing that I only had like 47 pics in a 2GB card.  I change the 4GB from the other camera to see if the problem was the memory card and now the 4GB when i turned the camera on has a message that says , no memory space in the memory stick, the stick is empty and still I can even take one picture.  Could it be a problem that one camera has damage both memory sticks?  Or could it be that the memory could have erased? Thanks for your help Ana

    Hello,

I'm Dutch and have the same problem.

I have tried to put some photo's and films back on my memory stick pro, but it didn't work and after I did this I also get the message 'no memory space, although I know for sure that it is empty.

I have a solution that worked! Notice: save all the needed data on your computer, because Formatting your Memory stick will wipe everything out!
if you have a Sony PSP, or know someone who does, replace the memory stick that says "no memory Space" in to the PSP port, go to "Settings" which is the left-most section of the PSP main screen, then scroll down to "System Settings," select it, Scroll down again to the "Format Memory Stick" selection and press "X" follow on-screen instructions and  SHAZAM!  its ready for action in your camera again!

Best would be to check the Crad on a PC to actually see if there are any images on it, if not try formmating the card via the PC & Try on the camera. if all fails i suggest you take the camera to the local camera repair shop just to get it checked out.

My Sony memory stick pro duo magic gate mark 2 is not shows images on pc but in my camera, but the photos are visible on Sony cybershot camera

Some Sony Cybershot camera's have a small amount of memory built into the camera. Double check that the camera is set to put the pictures onto the memory stick.
If the camera is set up correctly, the memory stick may not be formatted correctly for your computer. If at all possible, connect the camera to your computer directly with the USB cable that should have come with it.

Bought used camera Sony Cyber Shot Model DSC-P32. What Memory Stick do I need?

You can use Memory Stick standard, pro or pro duo up to 2GB with the Camera.
A dedicated adapter (MSAC-M2) must be attached to use Memory Stick Duo™ or MagicGate Memory Stick Duo media.

I have provided the Memory Stick compatibility chart for your reference.

Sony memory stick duo is saying full but has no images on it

> it has no images on it

Insert the memory-card into your computer.

Open "My Computer".

Click with the SECOND (usually the RIGHT) mouse-button on the icon for the memory-card.

Choose 'FORMAT' and choose 'Quick Format'.

This will "empty" the memory-card, making it 0% full.

Or, you should be able to do something similar to the above, while the memory-card is inserted in your digital-camera.

No piks showing

The memory card can't be more then 2gb...the camera won't support more than that. Have you formatted the memory with the camera? If not try that, don't format the card with your computer.
