Re: flickering games red jumpy video

Do you have the latest version of direct x installed? Direct x sometimes can cause problems with games using 3d acceleration, as some versions of direct x are not fully compatible with the video card and/or the video card drivers.

The picture is flickering when I am in games!

What about the screen resolution? If you have big screen resolution, try to set it down to 1024X768 and try again to launch game.
Also take a look at that

I would recommend to optimize your PC. Sometimes this problem occurs due to missing dll files or corrupt registry. Use a system utility tool like Reginout to fix this problem. After scanning download & install latest DirectX from microsoft website.

Hello there, I am the Expert that will be helping you today. My name is damnor01.

Welcome to Fixya.

You need to view my published guide entitled How to install Graphics Drivers, Nvidia and AMD Radeon!!!
The section on Nvidia Graphics Cards applies to you!

I believe this is a driver problem you need to download and install the latest drivers for this graphics card from the Nvidia website, as explained in my published guide.
Also in the game video settings disable the option for VSync.

I can not wait for your reply, if you still experience any problems just post a comment to this solution!

Thanking you!

Sounds like overheating, buy a zalman fan kit, with the little blue aluminium heatsinks.

Flickers when playing Games

You could try to find a new driver for your graphics card or even there may be a patch for your game available. That video card should be fine for that game though.

ASUS en7600GT flashing screen.

i did not understand if the problem is in the exact moment of the driver installation or after. so i will post for both questions.
case 1: the display turn on/off when the driver is installed and you did not try it after the installation: in this case there is no need to worry because after installing the drivers it almost always happens that you get that effect. it happens because while installing the driver the installation is changing allot of the default display parameters and settings resulting in short flickers of the screen it should work perfectly normal after you restart your system.
case 2: in this case the display continues to flicker even after you restarted the computer after the driver installation in which case i would recommend installing the latest driver from the nvidia website [ ]out dated drivers may conflict with more modern day software or even some updates to the other software on the computer.
good luck.

ATI RADEON X1650 Pro Problem

The graphics card might not be working in sync with your processor. Get it checked WHY this is happening. Probably a faulty connection somewhere. See if you can find one before getting it checked.

Sounds like a setting issue. You could try enabling triple buffering, waiting for vertical sync, etc. It is most likely an issue with the game you are playing and the card.

Mouse flickers & disappears only on games

Since your mouse works fine other than in the game can I suggest you instal the latest driver combo from ATI. Just because the card has PowerColor's name, it's still an ATI chip.
So in this order, update windows. You'll need .Net framwork 2.0,
do not skip lower version & install .Net framwork one at a time restarting when requested. Install directX 9.0c from here:
Uninstall any other versions currently installed on your system.
If for what ever reason the uninstall fails, download and run ATI's uninstaller "cat-uninstaller.exe" to clean your system from here:
You’ll find lots of cool features within the Catalyst Control Center.
