I would not recommend this because it would do nothing to the phone besides make it very hot. and cause the battery to heat up.It could be very damaging to the phone.

Why does the lg marquee overheat

Try running less background services. The more you have the phone doing the more electricity is being pulled from the battery, and pushed into the processor. Part of elecricity's nature is heat, and the more electricity your using at once the more heat you generate. Also, the phones design may not allow for proper heat transfer, thus allowing it to hold more heat.

My mobile turns off automatically when charging.

the phone is probably overheating charging puts out alot of heat is these little phones, if your using i while it charges that could also be a reason its over heating as well and its not in a well ventilated area such and a bed or something that wont let the back of the phone where the battery is breathe which will cause it to over heat

Phone heats up on extended usage

This is absolutely normal. When running demanding tasks (videos, browsing, games etc) phone uses it's cpu for 100% and not only cpu produces more heat, it also requires more power than usual, so the battery heats up too. Together this works to heat your phone up significantly (so you can feel it easily)

The phone is getting very warm when using the Internet, can i do soemthing

Hi,
This is normal and you dont need to panic.
Your phone may get heated when you simultaneously use the internet and charge your phone parallely.

so charge your mobile fully and use the internet without putting your phone in charge when connected to internet as this may reduce some level of heat. but generation of heat varies among different mobile models and this normal

I hope this is useful to you
Thanks

Spilled grease in my phone. it still works but has grease in screen. I want to open up the casing and clean it out. How can I?

Hello,

get a screw driver, remove the battery, loose the phone, then put the screen/panel near heat, feel the heat temperature, so that the heat will not damage the screen/panel.

Even if you don't loose the phone, you can aswell put the phone near heat and it will dry it from outside.

The grease can also dry by itself even if you don't put it near heat. It will gradually dry up as the screen light will dry it up.

take care.
