Question about Toshiba Satellite A100-S8111TD Notebook

Toshiba Satellite 1135-S155 power lost completly

During regular use, power was just lost. DC power adapter shows green light. No lights on front of laptop at all. No change with moving the cord at either connection. Pin/connection looks OK (external visual). Tried all the usual things (different outlets, etc.) Nothing. Battery was not charged (was not installed), so I can't use that to test the machine. Any guesses?

This problem usually occurs if your laptop undergoes any shock or it falls.
The processor of the laptop hangs and needs to b reprogramed by experts in service center.

Same problem happened to my Sony Vaio.

Yes, as long as new HD is same type. old ATA to new ATA. (SATA to SATA)

However, don't forget to use a cooler. It will run fast but cause more heat!

CANNOT FIND THE DRIVERS FOR WIRELESS AFTER REPLACING HARD DRIVE

First you need to get the name of your wireless card. You may be able to find it in start>accessories>system tools>system info and click on network adapter. Once you have the name of your adapter, go to www.microsoft.com and search for the Hardware Compatibility List. This will have all of the wireless cards that are compatible with XP. They also have the drivers at the same place. Second choice, go to the wireless manufacturers website, they always have the latest drivers available for download. If you have any questions let me know.

Don't forget to rate this with 4 stars before you log out.
