In the "test connection" my PS3 obtains the ip-address but it fails to connect to the internet. What can I do to connect it to the internet?

- sorry its a wireless connection with a siemens speedstream router any suggestions guys it would be much appreciated

- yer i got the same problem actually i enter my ip address and all that in manually because if i dont it wont pick up my ip address however it still tells me an error has occured connecting to te internet it says its a dns error i think the error code is 80710102 - kev31

- i have a wired connection and i have been trying to setn my ps3 up oline for months. the ip address has succedded but the internet connection fails please help this is annoying and does not let me appritiate the ps3 to its full potential. please help.- murray92

used hdmi connection now ps3 will connect with yellow, white and red connectors
