Check your electrical breakers
Be sure to check your voltage coming to the dryer at the plug and the machine back where the wires connect to the terminals you should have 220Volts.
I think this may be your problem with no heat.

We have brought home two new roper dryers now because neither one of them heats up. we hooked up a brand new 3 prong plug to the new dryers and plugged them into the existing 220 outlet that our old dryer...

You need to double check that your wiring it up correctly at the junction block on the machine. if thats correct. Most likley is that you actually only have 110 volts going to the machine it will run fine but will not HEAT. check voltage at plug or where its wired into back of unit you should have 110 volts on two out of three with the third being ground if you dont you have a bad outlet or breaker in elec.panel

Roper Dryer will not heat

I don't have a picture of the rear panel available, but if you have to remove the exhaust duct to remove the panel, I would be checking to ensure the exhaust ducting is not clogged/restricted. The duct does not have to be completely blocked to cause the dryer not to heat properly.

Please take the time to give this solution a fix ya rating.

Dryer not heating

Everthing is on the back. Unplug the appliance. remove the rear panel. This is a sweet machine. Very easy to fix. The element comes right off easily (2 screws either side of it). Look for breaks. if the element is kosher check the hi-limit mounted on the same heater above on the left. Hey here is some pic:NOTE Not shown is the 300 degree limit mounted at the top!!!38d8abb.jpgc4945e0.jpg
