Reiker ''room conditioner'' heater stopped working

Recently purchased a Reiker room conditioner for our TV room. Worked great for about a month and now the heating element has stopped working. Remote, light and fan are still operable. Any suggestions?
P.S. Purchased new in box from ebay.

We have the exact same problem. Fan is only a year old, so it has only been used for heating for a few months. LIght and fan still work fine, only heating has stopped. Any help is appreciated.

I've also had this problem. Solved it with the reset button on the back of the remote. It's under the battery cover, next to the dip switches.

Turn on the remote, with heat. Then, at the wall switch or circuit box turn off power. Wait a few minutes. Restore power and within 30 seconds with remote in range of fan hit the reset button. You should see a countdown from 5-0 on the remote screen.

I did this and the heat started working again.

I tried your solution and it got the heater working, but after a minute or so it turned back off. I tried it a few times and still the same issue. Any ideas on what the problem might be? The manufacturer is not very helpful. They told me I had to remove the fan from the ceiling and send it to them at my cost, both ways. Not great customer service for a fan that is less than 6 months old and the heater has not been used that much.Any help is appreciated. Thanks, JD

My thermostat is set on 68 degrees and it shows room temperature is 68, but the furnace still kickson, Honeywell said it has a 1 degree difference. so what's the problem then?

Yes there is a one degree tolerance, in fact my heater just kicked on and it is set to 67 and the inside temperature reads 67. It is also a Honeywell.

Only recently my portable heller air conditioner is oosing out buckets of water each night. does it mean it finished and needs replacement,

Portable air conditioners cool the air, and in so doing, dehumidify the air. The "buckets" of water are coming from the humid air in your environment, so you need to do things that will reduce humidity, of be prepared to empty the condensate receptacle fairly often.

Using a small room, closing doors and windows to the room you want cooled, avoiding cooking or heating water, reducing the frequency of people walking into/out of the room and limiting the number of people in the room will all help in reducing, and keeping low, the ambient humidity.
