I have 2006 toyota yaris and its ac is not working properly, i have had discussion with mechanic and he said ac compressor is damage and it will be replaced, as our climate is very hot and temperature is up to 50 degree, so he is suggesting that he will place another compressor and not like original one but some other company. would you suggest, shall i go with mechanic? please reply me on [email protected]

everything else is junk....

When i switch on ac of my car some time i get cool air very late , same goes when thermostat gets stop it starts again very late

its all computer controlled,try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and see if that helps

Check your coolant level first then start having sensors checked. Could be a bad sensor or wiring issue.
Use a multimeter to check. unplug the sensor and replace it with multimeter. As the coolant warms you should see a voltage change. I don't know the exact figures you should see but it works on voltage change to close and open the circuit, hope it helps.
