D3d drivers 95

D3d is an abbreviated way of saying Direct3d. The 95 could possibly mean that it wants version 9.5, but I'm not really sure what else to make of it. Direct3d is something like a framework/library for rendering 3D objects on Windows operating systems. It's part of DirectX, but you can download direct3d alone from Microsoft; though I would advise against downloading it from any place but Microsoft or MSDN for several reasons. You can try grabbing the latest version (I think it's 11) first, and if that doesn't work, go ahead and look for 9.5.

Lastly, there's a possibility that this message means that your drivers are not compatible with Direct3d. There are a number of reasons this could happen. First off, your laptop may not be able to run Direct3d. However, I find this unlikely; it's pretty rare to see a Windows 7 laptop with absolutely no graphics capabilities whatsoever. If you ever re-installed Windows, that could be an issue, as the driver software is erased when you do this. It might be possible to ascertain additional information with a more verbose description of the problem you are encountering. ;-)

My games wont let me play them, one of them say 3d direct error creation failed, something like: "Initialization Error: Direct3D renderer creation error: Creation failed" and the other game...

If your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it
Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question exclamation mark ? mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers
Want to make sure your drivers are in place and no errors have occurred? Simply click start right click on my computer select properties then select device manager scroll to Display Adapters and click on the small "+" you should see the model of your PCI Express graphic card there. If there is a problem with it, a yellow exclamation mark should appear besides it. If you don't see it everything is OK and your card is working properly. im not sure what the eror might be
click start control panel administrive tools computer management then select event viewer depending on what operating sytem you have this may vary
in left panel extend the events there you will see errors in red right panel you will no what exactly what the error was and at what time it occured you might be able to work your way through the problem or you might download this http://download.cnet.com/nVidia-Graphics-Driver-Windows-XP-Media-Center-Edition/3000-2108_4-10044975.html This is a WHQL release from the Release 260 family of drivers. It keeps saying when i try to play one of my games: Initialization Error: Direct3D renderer creation error: Creation failed:

Hello,

The first thing you should do is check on the installation CD/DVD game on for any readme.txt or
troubleshooting.txt files.

The readme.txt file should list the graphics cards that the game is compatible with. Make sure that your graphics card is compatible with the game.

Also the same file may tell you which version of DirectX the game requires.

Make sure you have the version of DirectX required installed. Most games have the DirectX libraries needed in a folder on the game's installation CD/DVD.

Also there is a program in C:\Windows\System32 called dxdiag.exe you can run this to diagnose your DirectX setup and your machine.

Hope this helps.

When I try to play Wizard101 it says something like Direct3d creation renderer failed to initialize. How can I fix this?

Update your Flash to the latest version: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
If you're on Google Chrome, update your browser using Wrench > About Google Chrome
If this doesn't fix it, you should try updating your graphics card driver.

I just bought a used laptop and i installed two games on it Stronghold 2 and Prison Tycoon. Neither will run on my computer. When i try to run Prison Tycoon, it says Direct3d renderer creation error and...

It could just be that the graphics set in your PC is just not capable of producing the resolutions/operations required for the game as they are set or you maybe need an updated graphics driver. Try reducing the resolution settings in the game(s) if you can. Also make sure that the resoulution screen setting is correct for the size of screen and that you dont have any strange modes set up like trying to output to 2 screens etc.

Monitor

you wont have any of these if you have onboard graphics, to get graphics with rendering and 3D texture you will need to fit an AGP graphics card and dissable on board graphics.
