Wii will not turn on even though it has power and everything is connected. Help?

This is a common problem with the Wii. Even if it's hooked up to a surge protector. If there was a power surge, or the power went out, etc...anything, this will happen. The problem is with the AC adapter, not the Wii itself.

There is a circuit inside the AC adapter that needs to be reset. Unplug the AC adapter from the wall/surge protector outlet. Don't unlpug it from the Wii, it has to be at the outlet. You have to kill power to the adapter.

Unlpug it from the wall/surge protector outlet, and leave it unplugged for 5 or 10 minutes. This will kill power to the AC adapter, and give the circuit time to reset. When you plug the adapter back into the outlet after 5 or 10 minutes, the red led on the front should be lit up.

Want to play again and turn on wii Console no picture, why

You need to unplug the AC adapter from the wall outlet for 5 or 10 minutes (NOT from the Wii, you have to unplug it from the wall outlet). Considering how often I see this problem, I'm amazed Nintendo didn't address it in their FAQ on the Wii.

This is a common problem with the Wii. As I said, I'm very surprised Nintnedo didn't cover this in the owners manual FAQ, considering it happens almost every time there is a power surge or the power goes out, etc.

Even if it's hooked up to a surge protector, this happens. Power comes back on, but the Wii appears dead. It won't turn on, and the LED indicators won't light. If there was a power surge, or the power went out,etc...anything, this will happen. The problem is with the AC adapter, not the Wii itself.

You need to reset the AC adapter to get the Wii to work again. There is a circuit inside the AC adapter that needs to be reset. Unplug the AC adapter from the wall/surge protector outlet. Don't unlpug it from the Wii, it has to be at the outlet. You have to kill power to the adapter.

Unlpug it from the wall/surge protector outlet, and leave it unplugged for 5 or 10minutes. This will kill power to the AC adapter, and give the circuit time to reset. When you plug the adapter back into the outlet after 10 minutes, the red led on the front should be lit up.

My daughters xps 200 won't start, she presses the button and nothing. She has checked the surge protector that it is pluged into and it is OK... is there a reset button is there was a power surge??

most surge protectors have some sort of on/off switch and a reset button. If there was a surge then you would need to pres the reset button to get the surge protector to function again. If there was no surge then try using the on/off switch on the surge protector to see if that helps. Also try simply unplugging the power cord from the back of the desktop while the computer is turned off. This will sometime also help.

We moved our TV from it's normal spot (hooked into different power source and cable outlet) and now it's dead. It won't turn on at all. We moved it back to it's old spot and still no luck. We bought it...

If it was plugged in during a power surge without a surge protector, there is a possibility it could be dead. Or if it was plugged into a new outlet without a surge protector, especially if it was never properly shut off before the move, that could kill it. Try unplugging everything and letting it sit for 30 seconds, then try again (with a surge protector if you have one)

Random turning off/on while watching tv

sounds like it could be a power issue. is the powercord on the back of the tv detachable? make sure its plugged in tightly. also if using a surge protector reset surge protector. if not using a surge protector try a different outlet. also if gfci outlet (has reset button on outlet itself) try resetting the outlet by pushing the reset button

I would blame the bulb blowing, especially if they were on the same electrical system. One way you could stop this from happening again is to have anything electronic (your ps3) on a surge protector, then if you would have a power surge or anything like that, the surge protector would fry and the electronics hooked to it would be fine. Rather pay 12 bucks for a surge protector than a couple hundred for electronics :)

HP Office Jet 6310xi All in One

Unplug the power cord from the All-In-One when there is still power in the unit also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet or surg protector, leave the cable unplugged for atlest 1Mins time.
Then connect the power cable directly to wall outlet without the surg protector and before connecting the power cord to the printer, press and hold the # and no 6 button in the All-In-One without releasing the keys connect the power cord and do not release the keys untill it shows as semifull reset.

Good Luck

Thumping when not hooked up

First thing to check are signal cables but broken fuse telling me that problem is 99% in sub power supply unit or the amp.If you have a voltmeter and if you KNOW how to do it dissasembly it and check DC voltage on a speaker conntacts. If there is any DC present your amp is worn out.But this can be VERY DANGER because 220/110V is there so if you are not 100%sure that you can do it DON'T!!!
