Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
My hp laptop with vista ultimate OS is undergoing a problem. The touch pad is not working. The movement of the cursor is monitored by it but the click process is not functioning.None of the folder or icon is opening by the click although the cursor is moving.
If you have a usb mouse try plugging this in and see if it works opening your files etc.... if it does then do to control panel>system>device manager and and look for pointing devices, right click on touchpad and select uninstall. Reboot your computer and remove the usb mouse, windows will pick up your touchpad as new hardware and install it. Hopefully this will resolve your problem
I hope this helps
