Hi, when I playback the picture pixelates in three horizontal lines down the left side of the LCD display and the computer screen when capturing. It seem to happen whenever the cameta has panned and the picture moves across the screen. I have a lot of tapes I am wanting to convert to DVD and this is annoying. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, nothing I do seems to fix it!

Hi!
If the images you are capturing are hazy with zig zag colors etc...the imaging IC is faulty.If the problem in Display unit only but the captured image is OK when you transfer the same to PC..then LCD may be having problems.
We can help you in spares of Sony and we can also offer the service manual.
