Need a lot more info about your system setup. I just fixed a similar problem by using Affixa, after setting it up it essentially connects to your email client to send the file.

I get this message on my computer that says 'Your Microsoft Exchange Server is Unavailable." How do I make it available?

By the sounds of it you are using Outlook 2007 or 2010
to download your email from sites like hotmail and Yahoo you need POP3 not Exchange. Exchange is a Microsoft Email server used by companies.

to remove the exchange section in outlook you need to go to the "Configuration Panel" then click on "Mail" in there you will have a profile called "Outlook" click on "Email acounts" and remove the item that says "Exchange" then click "Add " tick the box "Manually selct settings" select POP3 and add the details for your email as per their instructions
