How to take apart a syncmaster 932bw - Samsung SyncMaster 932B LCD Monitor

Most of these have clips and little screws. Use athe smallest screwdriver you can find slip between the seams and easy pry it just enough to see in to find the other clips slowly work your way around it. Till it pops off.

1.follow this first

2.Turn the monitor so the front section is facing
upwards. after completely pulling this front cover,

Turn the monitor so the back of it is facing
upwards. Lift up and remove the back cover.

Check the caps in the power supply first.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). The flickering picture usually indicates that the power supply is failing. The most likely cause of the power supply failure like this is capacitors either drying out or bulging from over heating. In most cases you can open the monitor and look over the power supply and see obvious bulging on the capacitors that are failing. If you replace them you should be back in business. reynolds3d, Nothing new here. Happens a lot. 932BW will need to have some work done to the unit's SMPS probably. Read my fixya profile and make decision on what you will do based on info found there. 12fixlouie

i think this prob is from your cpu .
chek the monitor with another cpu.

Sent in for warranty repair to Samsung. Appears there has been some problems with 932B & 932BW.
