dont quite understand why we can not send or recieve a fax,everything installed correctly and lines are active,just says failed to connect.PLEASE help! www.worththewait1@verizon.net

cannot sent a fax, receiving is OK. connection ends with the fax-recognition of the receiver.
I tried to reduce compatibility, altering ISDN to normal, sending to another fax: always the same problem.

cant send or recieve fax...it dials then says remote fax problem..but my moms fax has worked several time before..the she sends me something and it looks like it goes through but it says the same thing...please help

I'm no expert but, did you try touching the online or hook button on the fax to hear the dial tone? Or connect a basic home phone into the phone jack at the wall the fax was plugged into. Do you get a dial tone. If no dial tone, call the phone company. If there is a dial tone, its the fax.

After calling the Phone company and finding out my line was working, I unplugged my FAX machine from the plug unit, waited 20 seconds and plugged it back in to the outlet.
