Question about Acer Aspire 5610-4648 Notebook
I have an Acer 5610z and recently when i was using it i had the charger plugged in and it stopped working. The light indicator showed that it was not charging and now i can't use the laptop because the battery is dead.
You can get an A/C adapter online on various websites or Ebay for around 20-30 dollars plus shipping. That should rule out whether the problem is your adapter or the laptop.

Angelbabe777 is correct if your it does sound like your power supply adapter is at fault here, however you can clarify this by first making sure there are no lights on the power supply unit (if there are any)
and also make sure that if it is a universal power supply unit with adjustable voltage that it is set to the CORRECT voltage for your laptop.finally if you have or know some one who has a multimeter you can check that the unit is at fault or your LT. this should clarify this matter.

Have a check with your battery or power adaptor
if this doesnt work out you will have to take it for repairing
