I can't connect to itunes store

Make sure that you can sync your IPod as well as any device using Itunes. You have an internet connection if this does not work delete the old software and start new by downloading software again. That should solve the issue. John

How to fix error 48 in itunes

The message does not indicate that there is an issue with the iPod but that that iTunes was unable to read the iPod software update it uses to restore or update your iPod. You can delete the folder containing the iPod software update files so iTunes can download a new copy of the iPod software update.

Here are the steps to take if you get this message:

Eject iPod and quit iTunes.
Use Disk Utility in Mac OS X or run chkdsk in

Windows to verify there are no other issues on your hard drive.
Locate the iPod Software Updates folder:

In Mac OS X, the folder is
/Users/username/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates

In Windows Vista, the folder is
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates

In Windows XP and Windows 2000, the folder is
C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates

Note: If you don't see the files in Windows, turn on the Show hidden files option.
Windows Vista: Open Computer and choose Folder and Search Options from the Organize menu.
Windows XP and 2000: Open My Computer and click Folder Options from the Tools menu.
Click the View tab.
In the Advanced Settings pane, select the "Show hidden files and folders" button.
Click OK.
Drag the iPod Software Updates folder to the Trash or Recycle Bin.
Connect iPod and open iTunes. You will need to be connected to the Internet to download the files.

Then restore the ipod agin -

Need help with downloading i tunes on ipod--says I already have old apple program and I can't delete it

Hello,

Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs, select iTunes and click on uninstall. If this does not work go to My Computer > C:(assuming iTunes is installed on this drive) > Program Files > (Folder where iTunes is installed). There you should have an 'uninstall' icon. Double click on it.

Note that you must have Administratot rights to (un)install programs.

IPhone restarts when trying to delete pictures after copying...

Here's a fix for a windows system, and here's one for a mac.
The trick is not to choose delete after copying, then open the folder with explorer, then delete the stored files, then sync the phone with the empty folder.
Same thing for the album in ITunes. Navigate to the folder where iTunes stores the photos, delete the photos, then sync the phone. see here.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

I was given an iPod. 1 Gb. my brother says its the original nano, but the screen works, sorta, n i cant put my music on it. please help me hear something other than hanna montana

Hi, you probably need to install the right program for your ipod. Its still available on the MAC site. go here and find the one you have and download the appropriate version of itunes.
http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/
you can also get the manual there to tell you how to charge it etc.
Take note you may be asked for a serial number of your ipod while installing.
Itunes its the program that lets you swap out which music you want on your ipod.*S*
If your itunes is already installed, you should be able to simply open itunes, and it if it does not show your ipod connected ( on the left side list) then you have to ENABLE that ipod for your computer.
Select Edit | Preferences to open iPod preferences. Make sure the iPod tab in preferences is selected and the Music tab is selected under the iPod category.
Check the box next to Enable Disk Use.

Once all is installed and enabled you should be able to delete the hanna montanna and drag and drop your own choices to the ipod.

This all asuming that it is working now, and not just a dead battery ok? *s*
if your ipod is working fine then it has the right drivers installed and it has to be the itunes program. Thank you and good luck.
