System locked in stand by mode how can i reconnect

Hello
Unplug the device from AC mains wall socket, and replug it after a while, say five minute after. If it dow not help you to reset this device:
Press "Power" while pressing [>] [Play] button on the unit.
If this also does not help you, do as follows.
[1] Press Power to turn "OFF" the power.
[2] Press POWER to turn the power back ON while pressing "CLEAR'. Everything stored in memory after purchase will be cancelled.

"If power cannot be turned OFF in step 1, because of malfunction, reset by disconnecting AC cord, and connect it again. Then carry out step-2. OK

I knave a teac model ex cd3. Have lost the manual. Can't remember how to reset the radio stations. Can you help?

OK press power on,select tuner button for radio. then select band AM or FM. Then press tuning mode button until you see [manual] in the window. then press the tuning button [arrow left or arrow right buttons] until you get to your desired station.then press program / memory set. a memory number will flash [ say memory 1]. then press program/ memory /set button again to lock in the selection [memory 1] now this is the TRICKY PART. Once the selection is memorized go back to tuning mode Press the tuning mode button until you see manual and i think you can follow the above procedure. If you program AM stations first Then press the BAND button to get FM stations and go back to step one.

Switching on by itself

Hi...
Try covering the little red window that has the wireless remote receiver behind it. See what happens. If the problem quits, your stereo is picking up some other IR source in the room.
Also, shoot some WD40 into the cutout around the power switch
( WITH THE POWER UNPLUGGED) push the switch on/off several times then plug the AC back in.

No power

Hi,

It is possible that during your absence, there was a power outage/interruption, a thunderstorm or even a spike in the power lines.

Initially, have you tried a full hard reset? If not, pls unplug from the mains. Most current devices would reset and revert back to factory default settings (assuming no internal hardware fault) when unplugged for a considerable period of time (a couple of hours).

Other than the above, there is no other user action possible as the unit has to be opened requiring knowledge with electronic components and circuitry. If the full reset is still a no go, then perhaps your best bet would be to seek the services of a qualified professional.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Clock

Turn the system on and press the "Clock/Timer" button (located above the eject button for Deck 1). The clock will appear. To change the time, simply hold down either the < or > buttons (the ones you use to change radio stations and begin CD/tape playback). Press "Clock/Timer" again to lock in the time.
