Hello, HiFi system actually turned Off when you press power button and display of hello, heavy, vocal etc is demo mode of this system and it activates when unit goes to power off. You can change its settings like not to show demo mode etc and this procedure is described in owner's manual. Thank you.
It is possible that during your absence, there was a power outage/interruption, a thunderstorm or even a spike in the power lines.
Initially, have you tried a full hard reset? If not, pls unplug from the mains. Most current devices would reset and revert back to factory default settings (assuming no internal hardware fault) when unplugged for a considerable period of time (a couple of hours).
Other than the above, there is no other user action possible as the unit has to be opened requiring knowledge with electronic components and circuitry. If the full reset is still a no go, then perhaps your best bet would be to seek the services of a qualified professional.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Good luck and kind regards.
Turn the system on and press the "Clock/Timer" button (located above the eject button for Deck 1). The clock will appear. To change the time, simply hold down either the < or > buttons (the ones you use to change radio stations and begin CD/tape playback). Press "Clock/Timer" again to lock in the time.
