Question about HP PSC 1510 All-In-One InkJet Printer
When I open HP Scan in order to scan something, an error message reading, "Unable to connect to HPAIO TWAIN data source". The scanner is not broken because it makes copies fine. If i press "start scan" on the printer, the power button just blinks for about 20 seconds and then stops. What should i do?
'Twain' only means 'Technology without an important name', as this is refering to your printer/scanner, i would suggest that you disconnect the printer and remove any driver from Add/Remove programmes. Re-install printer software/driver and re connect printer when prompted and if possible in a different usb port, if that's how it's connected. If the problem persists and the pc is unable to communicate with the printer the fault will lie with the hardware. Hope it's only a driver glitch.
