Go to JVC website and type in your Model # and get the Installation/Connection Manual for free. This installation guide includes troubleshooting, electrical connections, and adding other equipment. Hope this is helpful just printed me a copy.

if there is a reset switch, it will either be a pencil tip sized indentation (unmarked) on the face or behind a small hole on the subpanel (the part the face is attached to). you can also reset the deck by disconnecting power to the radio for a few seconds. you can do this by disconnecting the battery if you can't get to the back of the radio.
Would check your balance settings. Make sure your not balanced more to left than right. Next i would try to swap over one of the speakers from right side to left to see if it crackles. If not replace left side speakers.
Hit the DISP Button so it is in time mode While holding the disp button press the arrow buttons which are located on the far right of the faceplate hours is the bottom one minutes is the top. I have the owners manual is how I know this.
I can uually find those on ebay for a few bucks. You will need to count the number of pins then go shipping....
Also look for a seller called cali car stereo
if they dont have it listed they probhably have it at thier store..
