Battery expanded leading to spliting of covers apart.

I bought Coby MP705-4GBLK MP3 last month and within a week from its use, one day the battery expanded leading to splitting of top and bottom covers. I had charged it only once.

My mp3 is not charging is less than a month old it doesn't last one hour on on radio

You have a faulty MP3 player, it should be still under warranty. I suggest you return it to where you purchased the player and get it repaired or replaced under warranty.

Coby mp4 shuts off after about 7 mins

I had the same problems with my player i took it apart and there was a little chip connected to the battery terminal wires, i removed the little black chip which is a sensor for the batteries to prevent damage to the unit and I removed it and resoldered the wires the battery terminals and now it works perfect.

Hi, The problem lies with the battery. If you are within the 90-day warranty, the unit can be replaced. If you are out of the 90-day warranty, contact the manufacturer for a replacement battery. Keep in mind, to replace the battery, if you are handy you can do it yourself with a soldering gun. If not, take it to your local repair facility. It should not take more then 5 minutes to replace the battery. The cost for a battery is a $6.00 Money Order. Contact Coby Consumer Care / Technical Support

Coby

i had the same problem, but after connecting it to my pc, via usb and looking in my computer under removable storage to open up the files in the player and make sure they were there, the player starting to work again after removing from my pc, worth giving it a try, unless you save all the mp3's to your pc then do a factory reset, within the player menu.

Coby MP3 player doesnt work anymore

I have the same problem with mine. Just return it to the company with a copy of the receipt and six dollars to pay for the shipment of the replacement. If you've had it for more than ninety days though I don't know what you could do.
