This error code has to do with a hardware fault which is probably the RAM. Remove the RAM sticks and replace one at a time. After the OS is installed try installing the remaining RAM sticks. If the RAM removal doesn't solve the problem then try changing/reseating the video card if you are not using the onboard video connector. Steve Medley

You need the latest display driver for your graphics card.

Click here to download the drivers off the Nvidia website.

Enter the information in the fields as shown below;

Product Type: Geforce
Product Series: Geforce 8 Series
Product: 8400GS
Operating System: Select the operating system you are using. XP or 7 whichever it is.
Language: Choose your Language, English

Then click search and download and install the driver.

This should solve your problem!

Do do recommend sticking with XP as your current computer system will find it difficult to run Windows 7.

All the Best!

I m having asus k8v-vm bt no space for sound card

The Asus K8V-VM motherboard has an intergrated audio chip on the motherboard, Realtek ALC660. You need to enable it in the bios. If you do not have you're manual down load it from Asus; http://www.asus.com/Search.aspx?SearchKey=K8V-VM You'll also need Adobe reader installed to view the manual. Enter the bios menu. Open Advanced. See the top of page
2-21 in the manual. Set, High definition Audio to [Auto] Save and exit the bios. Also check out page 1-19. You can install the driver software from the Asus CD or download it from the Asus link provided above.
Realtek Audio Driver V5.10.0.5211 for Windows 2000/XP/XP 64bit. (WHQL)

Change of hard disk from 160 gb ide to 250 gb sata

Hello there.

I checked the specifications on your motherboard from here .

As you can see it does indeed support SATA Hard Drives, as per the page:

SATA Four-Channel Serial ATA supports 4 SATA II devices

Each SATA hard drive uses up 1 of the channels, so you can use a total of 4 SATA drives at once.

Hope this helps.
