Problem with DVD Players

i have samsung bdp1500 blu ray player with the latest firmware installed. my problem is "how do you get rid of the bonus view icon on the top left corner of the screen everytime i play a blu

ray disc with bonus view features?

      My posted query is -- Is it possible to update Samsung's BP1500 model so that it can download/play subscribed Netflix movies without the need of the PC system being ON?" provided that this Samsung model is connected to the Internet (thru the modem, of course).

    • Samsung needs to put a firmware upgrade to fix this issue. Majorily annoying. When playing any bluray that has a bonusview the bonusview text in the left hand corner of my also samsung television doesnt go away. Thumbs down samsung! fix it.

    • I also just purchased this item and have the exact same problem. Playing any disc (Heroes Season 2 disc 1 in my case) that supports bonusview features results in a permanent 'BonusView' text in the upper left hand portion of the screen with no way to turn it off during playback.



      Please assist.

Go to Setup
Display Setup

Turn Screen Message OFF
