Press Cntr Alt Del and see what is hamming your PC or using the highest Of Cpu, as a last resalt, fully restart your mashine,, that should fix your problem.

this is cartridge error. pls .. check carrige assyembly....or cartridge

This seems to works for me and doesn't appear on the HP support site nor in the manual...

1. Power down the printer (use on/off button) and remove power cable. Wait 2 minutes.
2. Hold down Help and OK buttons together while plugging in the power cable.
3. I held the buttons for around 5 seconds and when I released them, the printer seemed to go back to a hard reset - all sorted!

I have had this problem of receiving an error message saying that the yellow cartridge is empty on my Photosmart D6160 when it was not empty. Strangely the use of the 'Black Only' button produced a COLOUR image, including yellow!
I seem to have cured this problem by:
1) removing the printer in the control panel
2) switching off the printer and unplugging it from the computer
3) replugging the printer and switching it on.
4) watching the computer as it automatically reloaded the printer driver.

Note: The operating system I am using is WINDOWS 7. The printer was working fine with this OS before the above incident.

Also you can check the ink levels/colours by pressing continuously on the printer's power button, pressing the resume button (downward arrow) once and then releasing the power button. The printer then prints out a test/diagnostic page giving the ink status.

Battery problems seem to plague HP cameras! Mine did the same thing, and resetting the battery (not just replacing) seems to have done the trick. See if these directions apply to your particular model. If not, go to the HP website and check the FAQ's for your model. That is how I was able to solve my HP Photosmart battery problem.

The easiest way to delete them is through Windows Explorer, however you can delete them in Photosmart Essential by right clicking on the picture and select "Delete from Disk".

You can delete multiple pics by selecting all the pictures you want to delete (checking the little box) and then right-clicking and select "Delete fron Disk" one time.

When you press the Scan button on the HP Photosmart C6200, it seems to require the HP-All-in-One Network.

Page 11 suggests that "The Scan to Computer option only appears if the HP-All-in-One Network is connected."

The Basics guide on Page 8 suggests that the All-in-One software allows the use of a network cable or a USB cable.

I don't have one of these to test. It seems frustrating that the scan button doesn't automatically allow Scan to Computer option without installing HP all-in-one software, but you should be able to experiment, installing it, and if it works, you can see what works or not.
